In our camps, we teach teens how to turn their ideas into reality using the power of code. The camp moves from basic logic and programming concepts to advanced coding, all through fun, experience and practice.
To give children basic computer science concepts and enable them to engage experitentially in logical thought
To provide design and planning habits – self-discipline, working individually and as part of a group, simplification skills, and modular thought
To expose the children to the software development project process – problem solving from the problem analysis stage through the actualization of the solution
Welcome to the World of Code!
In this unit, Tekkies will learn the foundation of coding using a block-based development environment called Scratch.
My First App
Tekkies will get acquainted with "LiveCode": A mobile app development language.
Be Cool is the first app that is developed using real syntax writing. The app allows texts to appear and disappear as a consequence of different textual inputs.
My First Game

In this unit, Tekkies will use all the skills they acquired during the camp to develop the second app which will be installed on their own mobile devices.
Seasons is a multiple screen App. The App is designed by each kid according to his or her imagination.
Our teachers individualize learning. They put their students in the position of being active learners who gain academic and life skills. Great teachers also innovate, collaborate, accept accountability, function as learners, and make efficient use of resources, among other things.
