Imagine a Better Future. Create a Better Future.

Before we begin, we’d like to invite you to do a little exercise in guided imagination. Imagine yourself during your childhood, the smell of the old family house, the sound of the steps of your sibling or parents walking down the hall, and for a second, go back to those instants where you had to help your family to do something; Maybe you were helping your father with the preparation of dinner, your brother with installing a new analogical gadget, or your mother with some other task she had to complete.

We’re sure you had the best intentions to help all of them with the specific things they asked you for, but we’re also positive that with today’s technology and digital advances you could have helped them much more. So, again and just for a second, imagine which solutions you could’ve created if you only had the tools your kids have today.

Yes. Creating the future is becoming more accessible, affordable and scalable every day. Nowadays, it is enough for your kids to just imagine a technological way to solve something, for them to get the courage they need to learn the necessary tools and turn these simple ideas into amazing realities… and no, it is not as hard as you may think.

Coding: The language of the present (the future is now!)

Enough! We don’t want to say once again that coding is the language of the future because it is not true. Coding is the language of the present. We live in a hyper-connected world, where artificial intelligence, IoT, virtual and augmented reality and 3D printing are changing the way we interact both with the world’s technologies and with each other.

Everything is made of code, and learning how to create new, and even more spectacular solutions will enable the generations of tomorrow to identify problems we’re not even aware of and build creative, innovative solutions for them.

As we’ve told you many times, knowing how to code will be, one day very soon, as fundamental as knowing how to read. But, the most important thing is not whether or not I know how to program, the big question is: What can I do with this knowledge? What can your children do with these skills?

Imagine, plan, create: Kids build their own apps and solutions

Indeed. As we mentioned at the beginning of this post, today it is much easier for kids to actually create something and learn, hands-on, how to improve a specific situation or activity.

We understand that our society, while living in the 4th industrial revolution, needs active, proactive, creative, innovative citizens with a strong skill set that will allow them to take an idea and turn it into something concrete.

Your kids can now be part of a new educational methodology, where the process becomes the main focus, and where standardized tests lose importance. Why? Because we all want something personalized, customizable and made “just for us”.

Understanding these new paradigms, we decided to offer kids from all over the world the possibility to become the creators they want to be. In our online coding courses, your children will learn how to code in a space that will enable them to practice hands-on, to experience PBL, to get 21st-century skills and to try… try… and try again, until they succeed in making what they had in mind.

We know how important it is to empower them, to give them the tools they need to turn imagination into creation. You have no idea the breathtaking changes they could build for our world… at least, they can begin with creating their very own app. An amazing first step, isn’t?
